Here's a quick photo essay on some tour posters I made for Kylesa's 2005 European tour. I get a lot of people emailing me asking how to screen print. To tell the truth there's a lot better info on the web from a "how to" perspective than what's contained here. But this is just a quick run through some of the basics. Keep in mind this is for posters and/or record covers. Shirt printing is a somewhat different process. I've been experimenting a lot with making DIY record covers out of various materials so this is just another step in that process of experimentation. This was a fast, cheap project to make some simple posters out of materials at hand. Clearly you can get a lot more in depth with colors and materials, but what you see here is the bare bones.
