Clay from Texas

I think this is the best entry of the whole contest. Clay runs Rabid Dogs records and has set up shows for lots of Havoc bands in Dallas/Fort Worth. I can remember back when the label first started, recognizing Clay's name and address on orders because he bought every new release as soon as the ads ran in MRR.

Here is how the contest shook out.
I eliminated about 10 entries, mostly for lack of releases, a few because there was no address or photo attached. I didn't post all the pics on the site, because I didn't want to bother with scanning all the photo entries that were mailed in. There are 50 copies of this record. 43 were mailed out to contest winners, each is personalized and hand numbered. 4 copies went to the band, and Michele and I kept another 3 copies.

If you didn't win, all I can say is, better luck next time. Almost everyone who did bother to enter got a record. Some of these collections are great, some are just so-so but these people all made an effort. I deleted dozens of emails from people who deserved a record, but didn't bother to take a picture and send it in.

Please don't email us asking for a copy of this record! The contest is over. All of these are in the mail, the end!
