The Making of Regulations Limited Covers

Regulations Limited LP

Regulations Limited LP

In this photo essay I'm going to detail the making of the Regulations Limited Covers. I'm also going to show some good methods of "recyling" old record covers to make new record covers.

To me DIY means doing it better than the industry. That is to say really putting something into your art and music beyond just a consumer product. I like nothing more than to spend a Saturday afternoon in my garage trying to make something cool out of a bunch of cast off junk. You can see more of my limited edition record covers elsewhere in the photo section of this site.

There are 50 copies of this LP made in July 2005. This record was not for sale. I wanted to rebel against the consumerism of 21st century punk and have a record that was given away to people who truly supported my label. I ran a contest on my site for people to send in pictures of their collection of Havoc Releases. I picked the best of these and sent them a free copy of this record.
